Still undecided? These political matchmaker tools want to find you a Presidential candidate

Hopefully by now Ken Bone has made a decision and picked a candidate. The world’s most recognizable undecided voter presumably agonized over the decision for the days leading up to the election and has now found a candidate he can live with. Some of us, presumably, aren’t so lucky.

For those that plan to get to the polling place and wing it, maybe it’s time to check out one of several political matchmaking tools to see which candidate most closely shares your values.

According to CNN’s matchmaking tool, my values are strongly aligned with lackluster email security and a batshit crazy third-party candidate. At least it’s not Trump, right?

CNN’s tool is but one of a few that aren’t funded by partisan support groups. Others good options are USA Today and iSideWith, which may be the most comprehensive of the bunch. CNN and USA Today are more of a general idea of which candidate shares your values while iSideWith seems to be fairly comprehensive if you choose to devote some time to it. If not, you can select just a few answers from each section and get your match.

If you do choose to go the comprehensive route, the tool is fairly useful. You’ll be met with questions asked in a neutral tone, each of which provide an explanation in case you’re not up to speed. Also, it doesn’t require the hard stance of a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ answer. The slider route allows you to take a more neutral view while still siding falling on one side of the argument or the other. It’s really worth checking out.

For what it’s worth, I got the same results on all three tests. So, it’s really up to you how far you want to explore your political leanings.
