Netflix’s latest series about becoming a YouTube superstar looks like a blast

It ain’t easy making it big on YouTube – and nobody knows that better than the multi-talented Miranda Sings.

The fictional character, played by Colleen Ballinger-Evans, portrays a delusional YouTuber who believes she has what it takes to make it in show business. Now, she’s got her own series on Netflix to tell the story of her tumultuous journey; you can check out the hilarious trailer for Haters Back Off above.

For those of you who are out of the loop, Miranda Sings has nearly 7 million subscribers on YouTube and has racked up more than 54 million hits on her cover of Taylor Swift’s ‘Shake It Off’. Ballinger-Evans scored a deal with Netflix in January to work on a scripted show with eight episodes to start.

Haters Back Off will become available on Netflix on October 14.
