Internet meme Grumpy Cat is not stoked to be the first Madame Tussauds animatronic kitty

She may look cranky, but Tardar Sauce — the three-year-old internet meme known the world over as Grumpy Cat — seems content to endure just about any sort of indignity with a tranquil, sweet- natured reserve.

Despite extreme efforts to cooperate, the little feline expressed distain for the proceedings. “This is truly an honor…” she reportedly meowed. “I hate it.”

And who can blame her? After all, it couldn’t be any fun to have this flock of strange humans fussing, poking, measuring and flipping her little frame around in order to collect the data they need to create her own wax animatronic figure at Madame Tussauds Museum in San Francisco.

You must be kidding.
You must be kidding.

Nonetheless, there you have it. Grumpy Cat will officially join the ranks of the most famous beings on Earth — President Obama, Beyonce, Steve Jobs, Joe Montana, Audrey Hepburn and many more.

The museum said the Grumpy Cat statue will feature five animatronic movements when it is unveiled later this year, but she won’t get to nap for long. Her stay in San Francisco will be followed by a tour of the other five Madame Tussauds across the US.

Get out of my face.
Get out of my face.

No rest for the grumpy.
