Facebook partners with ABC for exclusive one-minute newscasts

Facebook’s busy trying to woo the media lately and its latest move is a new partnership with ABC that will see the news network film one-minute long newscasts exclusively for Facebook users.

The new segment, dubbed “Facecast,” will be uploaded to ABC’s Facebook page every weeknight and offer a round-up of top stories, trending topics and more, from behind the scenes at the ABC news studio.

Another conference. “Great.”

This one’s different, trust us. Our new event for New York is focused on quality, not quantity.

Facecast will use Facebook’s video platform and is optimized for mobile users.
