Few franchises have a fandom as ardent as Star Wars does.

Today’s release of The Empire Strikes Back Uncut, a fan-made remake of arguably the best film in the series, just further proves that. Like its predecessor for A New Hope – as well as projects for other franchises like Robocop – it’s a mashup of hundreds of fan-made clips replicating the original shot-for-shot, and it looks absolutely ridiculous.
