GitHub is finishing work on “version 3.0” of its offices, and the reception area has been outfitted as a miniature Oval Office, complete with a rug featuring an official seal with its Octocat mascot.
Employee Ryan Sanheim posted a photo of the company’s new digs to Instagram:
Valleywag is using the room as an example of how not to spend startup money, but there’s no proof that this cost more than a standard renovation. It’s actually a fun idea and it does matches GitHub’s tongue-in-cheek company culture.
