This stunning map shows every train on the London Underground traveling in real-time

This stunning map shows every train on the London Underground traveling in real-time

Ever wondered when your next train will really arrive in the London Underground? Or exactly how many trains are making their way across the capital at any one time?

This stunning 3D map by Bruno Imbrizi gives you the ability to track specific lines and view, in (almost) real-time, where individual trains are throughout the London Underground. Oh, and there’s even an audio track of a busy platform playing in the background, just to get you in the mood.

Ever since TfL decided to open up its treasure trove of public transport data to the masses, we’ve seen some pretty novel experiments – this Google Maps mashup being a particular highlight.

But this visual representation by Imbrizi tops them all. The design, interface and striking color scheme are just top-notch, and being able to rotate, pan and zoom around the different lines is mesmerizing.
