Reddit user Igor Cheban likes to draw on his phone when he’s bored, and decided to share his results with the rest of the world.

As all touchscreen owners will know, finger tips aren’t exactly the most precise of drawing tools, and for many, an attempt at creating a work of art on an iPhone will usually fall short. That’s not the case for Cheban, however, a self-taught artist whose paintings are surprisingly gorgeous. They’re also painfully cute.

According to Cheban, he used an iPhone app called “Brushes,” and each painting takes a few hours. Here’s a video revealing his drawing process:
