The Game of Life (no, not the board game), is an intriguing, “zero-player cellular automaton game” devised in 1970 by JohnHorton Conway. Now, following Google’s usual paces of hiding little gems and jokes within its products, you can now play “Life” just by searching for it.

Type “conway’s game of life” into the search box and here’s what you get:
