According to the Sunshine Coast Daily, Australian billionaire Clive Palmer — the same guy that wants to build a duplicate version of the Titanic— is rumored to be searching for a way “to clone a dinosaur from DNA so he can set it free in a Jurassic Park-style area at his new Palmer Resort in Coolum” (Queensland, Australia).
Palmer apparently is planning on targeting the Middle East market for this resort, and is anticipated to fly in staff for the purpose.
So. Much. Tech.
Some of the biggest names in tech are coming to TNW Conference in Amsterdam this May.
If reports are true, Palmer has been in “deep discussion” with the scientists responsible for cloning Dolly the sheep. The idea, of course, sounds ridiculous, but this is the same man who accused Greenpeace of being funded by the CIA.
Now, skepticism aside, imagine if Palmer was successful…velociraptors, Newman…did he see the end of that movie? This won’t end well.
