Stop what you’re doing and type in maps.apple.com right now

If you visit maps.apple.com, you’re presented with…Google Maps. It looks like Apple hasn’t gotten around to changing a redirect it had set up some time ago.

As you know, Apple has ditched Google Maps in iOS 6, which is set to release to consumers in the fall. Current iOS users will still be using Google Maps, so this redirect isn’t that big of a deal, it’s just pretty funny.
