Yes, fridges have often been cited in hypothetical, futuristic scenarios involving ubiquitous computing…fridges that know what’s inside, offering dish suggestions based on its content. But what about fridges that don’t care what’s contained within, and helps you order a pizza for delivery instead? Well it’s here, sort of.
Red Tomato Pizza in Dubai has developed a fridge magnet that you sync and set-up once with your smartphone via Bluetooth. You attach the fridge magnet to, well, your fridge, and then to order a pizza, just push the button.
