Extract your own DNA by using household items like dish soap and salt [video]

Admit it, you’ve always wondered “How in the heck can I *see* my own DNA by using commonly found household items?”. Well, you’re in luck because there’s a tutorial for that.

Seriously though, without a bunch of scientific beakers, tubes, and equipment you could see a strand of DNA with your own eyes. There’s no microscope needed!

All you need is:

– Bottled water
– Clear dish soap
– Blue food coloring
– Table salt
– Alcohol
