Watch vintage computers play ‘House of the Rising Sun’ [Video]

What can you do with an old printer, a vintage Atari 800XL and a hard drive? Well, if this video is to be believed, the answer is music, and pretty good one.

It’s not the first time YouTube user BD594 creates what he calls a robot band, and his video of Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody played by computers has gathered 1.8 million views over the last two years.

Now he’s back with another classic, House of the Rising Sun, most famously recorded by The Animals – except this time, the guitar is a Texas Instruments Ti-99/4A with a Tektronix Oscilloscope. Who knew machines could sound that great?
