I finally got my Grandma to start using Facebook about 2 months ago. I had to bribe her with a free fan page for her business… and of course at that point she had no choice except to join haha. She’s mid-70′s.

Twitter is next. I created her an account on there, and am using it for her currently. Although, she actually asked me yesterday about Twitter *by name* when asking about a lead that I got. Normally she’ll say something like “what happened to that lady on that one site?” lol :-) So for her to ask about Twitter by name is a huge step.

I’m showing this to my 65-year-old mother. Not that she’ll get over her fear of technology but maybe this will make her take the ipod she got for last Christmas out of the drawer and use it.
