A Chinese company plans to create 40 electric cars in the shape of giant leather shoes

When I think about all the American purchased plastic crap made in China, I imagine they must think we’re pretty crazy. Now the tables have turned. Introducing a giant shoe shaped electric 2 passenger car, the latest promotion of the Kang Shoe Company, headquartered in Wenzhou in eastern China’s Zhejiang Province.

This crazy shoe car can drive up to 250 miles at 30 mph on a single battery charge. It measures 10 feet long and is more than 3 feet high, featuring leather bodywork in the same fashion as a normal Kang Shoe. The car took 6 months to design and cost around £4,000.

Here’s the kicker: the company plans to make 40 of these vehicles for stores around the country, according to Wang Zhengtao, Kang Company president.
