What is IPv6? And Why Should We Care? [Infographic]

There has been a lot of talk about Internet IP addresses running out. More likely than not, you’ve probably come across the term “IPv6” but having no idea what it means, you couldn’t care less.

To give you a brief background, let me try to explain. The IP (Internet Protocol) is a communication protocol used to relay datagrams and packets across a network. Now if I lost you at “Protocol”, this Infographic from Focus might do a better job in explaining what IPv6 is and why we should care.
