should be fixed now, apologies
Regarding #2 under the school hacks – that’s not a hack, that’s just lying. Also, most profs have been on to that for a while now and don’t buy it.
And if the prof uses Linux or maybe even a Mac then files, most likely won’t be checked for the file extension but for the mime type. And there are a lot of other of those hacks that just seem to be written by a hipster.
Skull hack doesn’t work, battery hack doesn’t work. AFAIK. Many others probably don’t either (the elevator one doesn’t make much sense)
skull hack does work. what other ones haven’t you tried?
The one regarding the lift is apparently an American thing, for emergency services. If they need to reach a high floor, it’s quick access.
I want to try up the lift. Also I can’t really see the file name on how to hack the wife at airport.
Hack the “wife” at the Airport? Isn’t that like, Illegal? XD
I think that they meant that if you want to visit http://example.com/page.html , you can do so at the airport by typing : http://example.com/page.html/.gif .
I don’t know whether it works though. Sites like Facebook and GMail wouldn’t work with that anyway – that “hack” relies on you typing each and every URL and adding something at the end. These pages use a technology where you can’t do so.
the elevator one is used by police and swat to get to their floor uninterrupted. this is what we do anyways :/
this is bullshit
It’s a cool infographic; too bad it’s saved as a JPEG. The compression is wreaking havoc on the black on medium gray text areas and making it extremely hard to read. Also, I’ll never understand why half of these things are referred to as “hacks” when they are just common sense and/or a little innovative thinking. :P
the Lift hack works!!! amazing in apparment buildings!!!
#3 under miscellaneous is also a very good way to get an innocent cashier yelled at for absolutely nothing. Don’t do this, because if you do this, you’re an absolute shithead.
