Do social media experts really earn that much. It seems like web developers and SEO have jobs and earn a lot of money at them.
The only reason this developer is making next to nothing is that he’s studying things like ASP.net, Flash and IIS.. he’s lost all his money on licenses.
OMG! I have to post this via my Twitter account.. :)
get a life no one cares
Oh Yeah!! NO one cares!!!
“Life is unfair, kill yourself or get over it.” Awesome 90s song from England:

I dont really think social media is going to real in the bucks in the future.
What i do really think is that once internet speeds is a thing of the past and there are no loading times, then film and television will take over on the net.
How many web devs you know that know all that stuff … and know it well? I realize the picture is old, but how many can build and configure an IIS box for speed optimization, write ASP code (uh, I mean use a fancy drag and drop interface to create .NET sites), along with Flash and XML wizardry.
Not saying they don’t exist, but if they do, they’re getting paid just fine.
Don’t just develop, create. India specializes in development, but not creativity.
LOL..this would explain why all the social media “experts” “gurus” coming out of the woodwork..
If you like what you do, it doesn’t make a difference how much money you earn. It’s more important that you are satisfied with what you receive and wish for.
Web developers are the factory workers on the new age… All they lack is a union to go off on strikes! (ps, pay isn’t based on what you do, it’s on what you add… start adding value, more than those around you and you’ll soon see your pay rise.. Unlike most dev’s that look at the requisites and blindly follow them saying in the end, “it’s what was in the requisite!”
We have to think about it!
