  I inferred the same meaning as you. We’ll come full circle, but with the wisdom that comes from experience, be able to balance information overload from online apps and web with real life away from the screen.
  
  Sure hope that’s the evolutionary path… I still haven’t learned how to balance computing and offline time ;@)

Well I think They started to make screens out of contact lenses (it's just couple black/white pixels at the moment). I think by 2020, it would be feasible to have a computer in your pocket, broadcasting wirelessly to the contact lenses in your eyes. Couple of decades more and we'd probably be able to have the computer intercept/enhance our senses and directly upload/download from the brain. It of course being completely buried somewhere in our bodies.

Nice cartoon, the sad thing is that things that get smaller don’t necessarily become easier to handle or more user friendly. With this whole minimization trend, manufacturers somehow seem to miss that there is a market for “Big and easy to handle” as well.
