Our good friends over at TheOatmeal have put together a truly terrifying concept: what would happen if you crossed Facebook and Myspace?
Why it would create a social network hybrid so foul and terrifying that even the most debased IE 6 using MySpace fan would quiver at the very first use.

also MyFace fände ich auch bedeutend besser. Aber egal, denke das es den Zusammenschluss nicht geben wird – braucht ja irgendwie kein Mensch, oder? Mehr solcher Cummunitys sind überflüssig, gibt ja meiner Meinung nach eh schon viel zu viel davon. Mir wäre es lieber es gibt nur 2-3 und gut ist.

Meine Traumvorstellung von effizienter Online-Kommunikation: Jeder ist bei Twitter und Facebook angemeldet und organisiert seine Messages über eine Art Social-OS wie Pip.io.
Ergänzend sollten Medien wie Bilder, Videos und Musik in erster Linie bei Social Networks hochgeladen werden, die gut mit den oben genannten zusammenarbeiten – TwitPic usw.
Eine solche Konstellation ist aber wohl reine Utopie. Da bleibt nur zu hoffen, dass uns wenigstens sowas wie MyFace bzw. FaceSpace erspart bleibt …

Ich könnte mir schon vorstellen, das Facebook Myspace schluckt. Oder vielleicht schluckt Twitter beide. ;-)
