Slack gets into the ephemeral game with emoji-inspired temporary tattoos

$540 million in funding later, everyone’s favorite office chat app Slack is veering into more non-digital products in the form of temporary tattoos.

The set is a mix of emoji drawn in a Classic American tattoo style, in case you’ve ever wanted the flamingo dancing girl with a slight pinup twist. They’re sold as a set of six for $10, which Slack says is just the perfect amount for one arm’s sleeve.

It’s not the first non-digital product Slack’s sold though: in the company’s online shop, it’s also got wooden coasters, stickers, shirts, and socks for grabs. Slack appears to follow along the path of where Snapchat has headed with its physical merchandises, from Ghostface Killah plushies to playing cards and beach towels.

It’s only a matter of time before someone begins selling makeup sets inspired by startup colors and logo-adorned dishtowels.
