Grand Theft Auto V hits PS4 and Xbox One on November 18, PC to follow on January 27

What’s better than Grand Theft Auto V on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3? Grand Theft Auto V on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, of course. Developer Rockstar Games will be releasing its blockbuster open-world game for Sony and Microsoft’s new systems on November 18. A version for PC gamers has been pushed back to January 27, 2015.

With the extra horsepower afforded by the latest consoles and PCs, these updated versions have been given both visual and technical upgrades. Rockstar Games is promising higher resolution visuals and better draw distances, so you can gaze off wistfully into the distant cityscape of Los Santos.

This “next-gen” release will also include new weapons, vehicles and activities, in addition to more wildlife, busier traffic, and improved damage and weather effects. Players that already own a copy of Grand Theft Auto V for Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 will be given some exclusive in-game goodies too.

Online multiplayer was a huge addition for Grand Theft Auto V and the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC builds will be taking the action to a higher level. Up to 30 players will be able to compete on consoles, no doubt creating even more carnage and death-defying stunts. Players will also be able to transfer their existing Grand Theft Auto Online characters and progression.
