Data is porn for those folks over at Infochimps

At SXSW I caught up with Nick Ducoff, co-founder and CEO of Infochimps -The site where developers or anyone making an app can search and find already organized data presented as a data set or API. It’s one thing being able to build an app, but the real laborious work comes in finding and correlating data in the correct way to make your application work.

But do not panic, the folks over at startup Infochimps really, really like data, in fact they like it so much that they take the pain out of correlating data because they do it for you. With platforms like Cabana enabling anyone to build iPhone apps, it’s going to be finding and harnessing the data in the right way that will be the hard part- made easier by the likes of Infochimps- nice one guys!
