Orange: No White iPhone 4 Handsets Until End Of 2010

Orange: No White iPhone 4 Handsets Until End Of 2010

It’s not a secret that the white iPhone 4 has been delayed; Apple told us back in July that it was facing manufacturing problems and the release date would be pushed back until later in the year.

According to T3, that release date is going to be a lot later than many people expected after UK-based mobile network Orange sent an email to its customers notifying them that the white iPhone 4 will not be available until the end of 2010:

We wanted to let you know that there won’t be any white iPhone 4’s in the UK until the end of the year.

If you’re happy to wait another few months we’ll let you know as soon as they’re back in stock.

I’m sure we aren’t the only people who thought a delay of “later in the year” would constitute a November or December launch.

Will a delay of this length put you off getting a white iPhone 4? Or even an iPhone 4 altogether?
