Microsoft is inviting users to test its new Xbox One dashboard ahead of the official release

Microsoft is inviting users to test its new Xbox One dashboard ahead of the official release

The redesigned Xbox One dashboard is set to drop in November, but Microsoft is letting loyal users test it and provide feedback before the launch.

The company announced today that members of its Preview program will be given a chance to test the new dashboard before it’s released, and their feedback will be used to shape the official dashboard for its launch.

In the statement, Mike Ybarra, Director of Program Management for Xbox wrote:

Because this is a significant update, we are giving Preview members the opportunity to decide for themselves if and how they want to participate in helping us release the New Xbox One Experience.

The release to Preview will mark a significant milestone on our road to delivering the New Xbox One Experience. It’s important to us to continue to let our fans be a part of the process.

The offer will initially roll out to Preview members, whom Microsoft says have historically submitted the most feedback in the past, before reaching other users in staggered releases.

Keep an eye on your Xbox Live messages as this is where Microsoft will be sending the invitations.
