Skype for Web beta now open to all US and UK users

Skype for Web beta now open to all US and UK users

As of today, anyone in the US or UK can go to Skype.com (or web.skype.com) and connect to Skype for Web instead of downloading the app.

This means that if you’re using a public computer or one that doesn’t have Skype installed, you will still be able to access your calls and IMs.

The Web beta is available for Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Internet Explorer.

Features of Skype for Web include syncing of your conversations from other devices, easy search and of course, video and audio calling as well as instant messaging.
