Microsoft launches Bing Awards to track ceremonies like the Golden Globes, the Grammy’s, and the Oscars

Microsoft today launched a new service under its Bing umbrella aimed specifically at award ceremonies like the Golden Globes, the Grammy’s, and the Oscars. The company claims the site will serve as the ultimate online resource center for all things awards; you can check it out now at bing.com/awards.

The launch comes just in time for the Golden Globes, which air live this Sunday night, and features an inside look at the event, a glimpse into the event’s history, ideas and tips for planning a viewing party, background on the nominees, as well as predictions for who may prevail based on the spikes in Bing searches following the nominee announcements. Google launched something in February just in time for the Oscars.
