Microsoft has confirmed that it has begun full production of the Xbox One, ahead of its November 2013 launch, while it has upped the console’s CPU from 1.6 GHZ to 1.75 GHZ — having increased its GPU last month.

Geekwire reports the updates which were communicated by Xbox chief marketing officer Yusef Mehdi, who was speaking at the Citi Global Technology Conference today.

Anticipation of the new Xbox (and Sony’s upcoming PlayStation) is high already, and Mehdi added further expectation when he called it “the biggest launch we’ve ever done by a wide margin in terms of units shipped at launch.”

Despite the teasing, Microsoft is still to provide a confirmed launch date for the Xbox One. We’re patiently waiting, like many others.
