SlingPlayer Mobile for Windows Phone 7 now available

SlingPlayer Mobile for Windows Phone 7 now available

Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 has been out in the United States for just over a day now but that doesn’t mean it’s short on quality software. In fact, Sling Media just announced that their very popular mobile software, SlingPlayer Mobile, is now available for Windows Phone 7 users this very minute.

That’s right, it’s already out folks.

If you head to the Windows Marketplace on your new Windows Phone 7 handset, you can find the software awaiting you for the cool sum of $29.99. Or you can just head here on your PC or laptop. It’s as easy as that. Here’s what Sling Media’s vice president of Products, John M. Paul had to say about the release:

The big story about SlingPlayer Mobile on Windows Phone 7 is the quality of the user experience. From the fully revamped user interface to the clear, sharp video images, customers are going to thoroughly enjoy watching TV on their Windows Phone 7 handsets.

Remember though, you must have a Slingbox already. If you have one, you’ll be able to stream live content from your TV right to your device and you can do so over 3G or Wi-Fi.

Well, if you even can connect to Wi-Fi.

Early Windows Phone 7 adopters, you should feel pretty lucky right now because Android users had to wait quite awhile to get their hands on SlingPlayer Mobile.

So, if you’ve got a SlingBox and you’re rocking Windows Phone 7, go ahead and get your fix.
