More reports of captchas in search results

Graham Charlton at Econsultancy has just published a post about Bing throwing up captchas when he performs local searches.

Based upon the comments it appears that Google and Bing both do this to prevent abuse from automated programs, but that Bing has a much lower threshold.

Another conference. “Great.”

This one’s different, trust us. Our new event for New York is focused on quality, not quantity.

Take a look at this image that Graham has made, and view the video on the next page, then please come back and leave a comment if you find this happening to you!

Please note – to leave a comment for Graham I had to fill in a captcha,
and it was a tough one that I failed on the first try. Talk about irony. :-)
