Path has captured the hearts of the early adopter set since it relaunched with its app aimed at sharing with your closest friends. At SXSW, Courtney Boyd Myers caught up with its VP of Business Development, Matt Van Horn to find out about how things are going at the startup.

Van Horn talks about Path’s new Nike+ integration and the upcoming Nike Fuelband support. What else might come in the future? Van Horn says that Path is being very cautious about who is allowed to post to Path. While he doesn’t give many details about which companies might be next to gain approval, he does seem positive about the possibility of some form of Spotify integration.

Fun fact: the average number of connections across Path’s userbase is just six, as the startup focuses on being “aggressively personal.”
