Dailymotion has launched Dailymotion Games, a live-streaming plaform for gamers, that’s clearly designed to compete with Amazon’s Twitch service.
The French-based video platform is aiming to attract a wide range of gamers from casual fans to big names in e-sports. It says gaming videos already generate 180 million views a month on its site.
Amazon acquired Twitch for nearly $1 billion last year after a bidding war with Google and Yahoo.
