Love video games? Valve just kicked off its annual Steam Summer Sale

Own a Windows, Mac, or Linux computer? Enjoy video games? It’s time to load up Steam, because Valve just kicked off its beloved annual Summer Sale.

The celebrations run from June 19-30, giving players a whole host of daily deals and flash sales – the latter of which rotates every eight hours – to take advantage of. The summer months are typically quite low-key for the video game industry – publishers save their biggest titles for the autumn and winter seasons – so this is a good chance to catch-up with older releases you may have missed.

At the time of writing, these are the bargains you can grab on Steam:

Daily Deals

Divinity, Original Sin: $31.99 (normally $39.99)
Dead Rising 3: $37.49 (normally $49.99)
Don’t Starve: $3.74 (normally $14.99)
Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion: $7.99 (normally $39.99)
The Witcher 2: $3.99 (regularly $19.99)
XCOM: Enemy Unknown: $8.49 (normally $29.99)

Flash Sales

Dead Island Riptide: $4.99 (normally $19.99)
DmC: Devil May Cry: $12.49 (normally $49.99)
Hotline Miami: $1.49 (normally $9.99)
Mirror’s Edge: $4.99 (normally $19.99)

The Steam Summer Sale is always a brilliant opportunity to extend your back catalog. Just be wary of the hole it’ll burn in your wallet…
