Netflix is bringing back original series Lilyhammer for a third season in 2014

Netflix is bringing back original series Lilyhammer for a third season in 2014

Original content is now the centrepiece of Netflix’s on-demand streaming service, so it should surprise no-one that it’s bringing back Lilyhammer for a third season in 2014.

The show follows former New York gangster Frank “The Fixer” Tagliano, as he acclimatizes to his new life in the frosty world of Lillehammer, Norway. Season two, which spanned just eight-episodes, was released in the UK, Ireland, the US, Canada, Latin America, Denmark and the Netherlands in December.

Although season three is now confirmed for 2014, Netflix hasn’t said exactly when it will premiere on the service, or whether all of the episodes will be released simultaneously. House of Cards season two, meanwhile, will be available from February 14 in 4K resolution.
