Netflix will stream House of Cards in its full 4K resolution glory later this year, according to CEO Reed Hastings.

Taking the stage during LG’s press conference, Hastings confirmed that UHD (Ultra High Definition) fans should be able to get their fix of House of Cards in 4K before the year is out, primarily by streaming via UHD-capable Smart TVs, such as those made by LG.

In order to whet our appetite ahead of the new season’s arrival next month, Netflix also today released a full trailer for season two, which you can see below.
