Amazon partners with JibJab to launch Video Gift Cards

Amazon is partnering with JibJab, the digital media company founded in 1999, to launch Video Gift Cards to let customers create personalized Starring You video

This latest initiative from Amazon means people can send personalized video gift cards featuring JibJab videos to mark a variety of special occasions, such as winter holidays, birthdays, graduations and more. The cards can feature a photo of the sender’s own face, or faces of friends and family, and as with any digital venture these days, recipients can share their JibJab videos through Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and email.

There’s more than fifty JibJab Starring You videos to choose from, and all you need to do is upload a photo, select a gift card amount of up to $2,000, then email or post it to a friend’s Facebook Wall. Customers who receive a video gift card can use it to shop for any items on Amazon – the video cards are delivered instantly or can also be scheduled for a future date, with no expiry date.
