You’d be shocked to know just how easy it is to crack into a hotel safe. Sometimes it’s as easy as punching in all “0′s” until your worldly possessions are in the hands of a thieving maid, or bellhop. We’re not making any accusations, of course, but it’s a good thing to keep in mind when you’re traveling.

Here’s a quick tip; if you’ve got something truly worth protecting, such as a laptop, passport or a briefcase full of gems, ask the hotel desk to keep in in their safe, and you’ll know for certain that it’s not going for a walk.
