This company wants to turn your hotel room into a porn set – sort of

Virtual reality is expected to grow into a $30 billion market by 2020 and the porn industry is hellbent on getting a piece of the action.

Last month PornHub launched its own VR porn category and there’s an increasing number of companies looking to make the shift from producing regular movies towards creating immersive erotic virtual experiences.

VR Bangers is one of these companies, but what makes it different is that it wants to bring VR porn straight to your hotel room.

The company just announced it has teamed up with headset manufacturer AuraVisor to offer the “VR Bangers Hotel Experience” – an immersive porn service priced at $19.99 that will turn your hotel room into an imaginary porn set.

To achieve this illusion, the VR Bangers Hotel Experience replicates the surroundings of your hotel room so that you can invite your favorite porn stars to spend the night– metaphorically speaking.

Once you’ve purchased the service, you will be prompted to choose a girl or a guy and soon you can expect to hear the porn star of your choice knocking on your door (in the virtual reality world, of course) to indulge you in a truly immersive erotic experience.

While VR Bangers’ platform supports all kinds of devices – including smartphones, computers and a number of VR sets – the service will arrive in hotels preloaded on the AuraVisor wireless headset that works entirely independently of third-party gadgets.

Now in trial, The VR Bangers Hotel Experience will be available in a limited number of hotels in Las Vegas, but the company hopes to follow up with a larger scale roll-out in the near future.

And, frankly, I can’t wait to test it – for educational purposes, of course.
