As we all learned from X-Files, the truth is out there. Or, in this case it might be hidden somewhere in 130,000 formerly classified documents from the US Air Force’s (USAF) UFO investigations between 1947 and 1969.
Using the Freedom of Information Act to file over 5,000 requests, on everything from the Kennedy assisnation to CIA mind control experiments (and of course, little green men), John Greenwald Jr. was able to amass 130,000 pages of these documents.
So. Much. Tech.

Not to be one-upped by the USAF, the CIA highlighted its own cache of documents, all of which had been declassified.
One of the most peculiar was a 1960s-era instructional guide on how to take UFO photos. Of course, the information is a bit dated, but it’s interesting nonetheless.
So, if you want to capture a UFO shot that would make Mulder and Scully jealous, here’s what the CIA recommends:
And above all else, if you’re lucky enough to take a photo with a little green man, for god’s sake, drop the duckface.
