Eat24 for iOS now supports 3D Touch so you won’t be so ‘hangry’

Eat24 for iOS now supports 3D Touch so you won’t be so ‘hangry’

3D Touch is pretty cool. You know what’s cooler? Using it to order a burrito.

Yelp’s Eat24 app announced some pretty cool updates today that make that possible. Among the features of the newest iteration are app indexing in Spotlight search, universal links and 3D touch.

Oh, and you’re going to need something to pay for the aforementioned burrito, so Eat24 added ApplePay to the update for good measure.

Here’s a rundown of what you’ll find once you update:

  • App indexing in Spotlight search: When you’re searching in Spotlight now you can find the cuisine you desire without even opening the app. The search displays queries related to search terms, such as: “Indian food” or “In-N-Out Burger.”
  • Universal links: Allows for easy sharing of specific pages (menu, order history, etc.) within the Eat24 app.
  • 3D Touch (for iPhone 6s and 6s+ users): Peek function enabled within the app. Now you can peek at menus or hours without clicking through to a new screen.
  • Apple Pay: Check out with a single click in Apple Pay to avoid finding your wallet after burritogedon 2015.

Now when you get hangry your next meal is only a few clicks away. Eat24 is available for free on the app store.
