Google is embracing CocoaPods to bring its services to iOS developers

Google announced today at its I/O developer event that it’s adopting the popular CocoaPods standard for iOS developers so they can easily integrate Google tools.

The company said it will use Cocoapods as the “default distribution channel” for frameworks like Google Analytics, Google Maps and other services.

Google’s Cocoapods will be easily installable inside Apple’s Xcode development environment just like any other library.

We don’t know when they’ll be available yet but will update when we spot them.
