Amazon’s Fire TV gets new streaming content, including Sling TV and the Game of Thrones games

Amazon’s Fire TV is getting a lot more content from today, with support for several new streaming platforms.

Most notable of these is the Sling TV app, a $20 monthly service that debuted at CES and streams live content from channels like ESPN, TNT and TBS. It’s also added FOX Sports GO, TED and WSJ Live as well as new games including ‘Crossy Road’ and ‘Game of Thrones’.

In total, Amazon says there’s five times more content on Fire TV than there was at its launch in April of last year.

Amazon has a promotion going on with Sling TV as well. Customers who’ve bought 3 months of Sling TV can get a Fire TV Stick for free, or get the $99 Fire TV for half off.
