Imgur adds features for everyone as it phases out Pro subscription

Imgur adds features for everyone as it phases out Pro subscription

Imgur recently introduced a GIF-making tool to bring more users to its site, and now the image host is providing all its users with some neat extra functionality.

In commemoration of Imgur’s sixth anniversary, the service is today incorporating Pro features – previously$2.99 per month – free for all its users, relying instead on ad support.

Everyone on Imgur now gets access to an unlimited number of image uploads, multiple thumbnail size sharing options,  image analytics and referral data, image management and editing tools and the ability to interact with the community through commenting, voting and sharing.

Pro subscribers will be refunded their money if they signed up within the past month.
