Mailbox email app for OS X is now in open beta

Mailbox email app for OS X is now in open beta

We first tried out the OS X version of Mailbox’s popular email app back in August and thought it was a strong showing among the myriad of apps looking to make email more bearable.

Back then, however, it was an invite only-beta. Today, it’s open to everyone.

If you’re a Mac user already accustomed o the Android or iOS app, you definitely want to give the desktop app a shot. The app is largely popular for its snooze function that lets you temporarily hide email to have it pop up again at a better time. With the desktop version you can also snooze emails to be read on your mobile device later, or vice versa.

You can check out the Mailbox app here.
