Motorola will launch the Moto 360 and new Android smartphones on September 4

At last, the moment has arrived. Motorola has sent out invites for a press event taking place on September 4 in Chicago. Although nothing is confirmed, a piece of paper origami hints at two products that we’ve all been expecting: The Moto 360 smartwatch and a successor to its premium Moto X smartphone.

The smartwatch and high-end Android handset, believed to be called the Moto X+1, are shown as tiny icons alongside another smartphone emblem with the letter “G” wrapped inside. That suggests we’ll also see a follow-up to the well-received Moto G (our review) smartphone; a final quadrant shows an earphone, which suggests Motorola could also have a Bluetooth headset to show off.
