Online US electronics retailer Newegg has expanded its footprint in Europe and moved into Asia, after launching localized sites in India, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland and Singapore.

The company — which is one of the largest retailers to accept Bitcoin — is already operational in the UK and Australia. Newegg says that international customers will initially have a somewhat limited choice of products, but it expects to increase its global range over the coming months.

In addition to limited inventories, international customers are facing fairly significant shipping fees. Even after those additions however, prices may be cheaper than local retailers, as Singapore-based blog Techgoondu found.
