Business management service provider Intuit is unveiling new tools to help third-party developers build apps that enhance its accounting platform’s app ecosystem. To aid discovery of applications, the company is launching its own app store at Apps.com.
Small business owners looking for accounting tools can search Apps.com to find a selection of apps. Intuit has already pre-populated it with at least 141 apps ranging from free to paid, those specializing in billing, expense management, field services management, marketing, business research, collaboration, bug tracking, and more.
Intuit says that all the applications shown have passed its testing process to ensure that it can seamlessly integrate with its software. The site can be accessed either through a Web browser or through QuickBooks Online.
