Yahoo’s Senior Vice President of Central Technology David Dibble has resigned. According to a filing with the US Security and Exchange Commission, the executive tasked with keeping Yahoo online will stay on as an advisor to CEO Marissa Mayer.
Installed in his most recent position in 2012 by former CEO Ross Levinsohn, Dibble oversaw the company’s central technology and core platforms. Previously, he had been responsible for the technology and operations side of things. Before his career at the company, he was also the Chief Technology Officer at First Data Corporation where he oversaw the creation and development of the Technology Strategy and Governance framework.

According to the SEC filing, Dibble will have a salary of $650,000 as Mayer’s advisor and becomes effective starting today.
