Sush.io is a collaborative management app that helps businesses organize their documents, workflow, and finances. Founded by CEO Thomas Guillaumin and CTO Fabien Charbit, the service deals with bookkeeping and paperwork by retrieving and sorting data (bills, bank statements, and documents).
Sush.io brands itself as Mint.com & IFTTT in a single app hosted in the cloud. Going even further, the startup claims it “wants to automate the CFO position.”
The co-founders point out that paper-based bills and invoices once used to be sent exclusively by snail mail, making it relatively easy to keep track of expenses. Nowadays, we use many online accounts and SaaS services, which require manual retrieval, extraction, and sorting of each data point.
Sush.io attempts to solve this by retrieving your bills and invoices from all your online accounts. Data is extracted automatically and organized into top-down reports to help you save time and focus on your business.
At the TNW Conference, Sush.io is revealing the very first demo of its OS X app, which is slated for release on May 15. Until then, over 50 startups in Europe and in the US will be participating in its private beta. Here’s what it looks like:
The app integrates with services like Freshbooks, Google Drive, and other essential startup and SME cloud services. It further lets users set up IFTTT-like automated actions, such as paying a Freshbooks invoice automatically, or sending an email each time a certain amount of money is spent.
The plan is to launch with over 15 services integrated from the get-go. Building that number up will be key to ensuring Sush.io can stay ahead of the curve.
